Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment.
• Experience in housekeeping, laundry operations and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, including assignments and performance oversight.
• Organize staffing schedules and coverage; handle shift replacements as needed.
• Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to team members.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and high service standards across departments.
• Ensure a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment across facility areas.
• Oversee laundry operations, linen handling, storage and distribution.
• Maintain infection prevention protocols in coordination with clinical leadership.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Support audits, inspections, and survey readiness activities.
• Maintain staff, supplies, equipment, and departmental records.
• Monitor supply usage and support cost-effective inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with department leaders regarding service requests.
• Provide timely follow-up and resolution of service issues.
