Job summary

Legends Global in Long Beach is seeking a Lead Environmental Services Crew Leader to support the Environmental Services Manager in daily operations and guest-ready facility upkeep.

The role provides hands-on leadership to staff, coordinates assignments, monitors performance, and ensures tasks are completed efficiently during events and shifts, upholding safety standards and service expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of custodial or Environmental Services experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work irregular hours, shifts including nights, graveyard, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assists manager by directing Environmental Services workers and assigning duties.
• Ensures all job assignments are completed during events or shifts.
• Uses chemicals and materials per MSDS and ensures safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Inspects completed work for conformance to standards.
• Submits maintenance requests for repairs and damages.
• Monitors compliance with safety rules and procedures.
• Assists with department training, coaching, and counseling.
• Maintains safe working environment and adherence to guidelines.
• Attends weekly staff and monthly safety meetings.
