Job summary

State of Maine seeks an Environmental Licensing Supervisor to oversee permitting, compliance and enforcement within the Land Use Planning Commission. You will supervise Licensing II/III staff, coordinate review teams, and present at public meetings.

Qualifications

• Advanced education in environmental science or related field with leadership experience.
• Experience directing and appraising work for project teams and processing permits.
• Ability to draft policies, rules, regulations, and complex technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Environmental Licensing II and III staff.
• Administer permitting, compliance, and enforcement programs.
