Job summary

Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates in Woodbine, MD, seeks an Environmental Construction Foreman for the Specialty Construction Group. You will lead field crews, manage UST/AST installation and remediation, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on fast-paced projects.

Strong candidates have 5+ years in environmental construction, proven leadership, and ability to multitask across schedules, equipment, and crews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in environmental construction, remediation, and UST/AST services.
• Experience leading field personnel and coordinating crews.
• OSHA 30-Hour and/or HAZWOPER preferred or required.
• Maryland UST System Technician certification or Maryland UST Installer certification within six months.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field crew and oversee UST/AST installations, removals, inspections, and related remediation activities.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to support project schedules and production goals.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, environmental regulations, and Hillis-Carnes safety policies.
• Maintain project documentation including daily field reports, safety records, inspection reports, and equipment logs.
• Coordinate with project managers, environmental professionals, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies throughout all phases.
