CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer (Level 5) to lead cost-estimating efforts for complex remediation and civil projects in the United States. The role involves developing detailed estimates across planning, feasibility, design, and construction phases and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, defensible costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering and PE license.
• 7 years of related experience; travel may be required.
• Experience with CERCLA/RCRA remediation processes.
• Strong cost estimating and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead preparation of detailed cost estimates for environmental projects.
• Develop estimates during feasibility studies and design.
• Support authorization, budgeting, and bid evaluations.
• Use MCACES MII and Excel models to build estimates.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate designs into cost models.
• Participate in value engineering to optimize delivery.
• Provide cost risk analysis and validation for decisions.
• Support construction through change orders and cost tracking.
