The City of Dallas is seeking an Environmental Specialist III to perform complex environmental inspections and investigations with minimal supervision. You will assess compliance with environmental laws, prepare detailed reports, collect samples, and support interdepartmental environmental programs.

Role involves hazardous waste management, spill response, data analysis, and training colleagues. Strong knowledge of regulations and ability to work varied shifts are essential.

Competenze

• Five years of hands-on experience in performing environmental inspections.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is required for spill response divisions.
• REM/CESCP certifications and Boater Certificate may be required for specific divisions.
• Class D or higher Texas water license may be required for certain divisions.
