Job summary

Japs-Olson Company (JO) is seeking a W+D Lead Operator to set up, operate, and troubleshoot envelope production systems. You will oversee the converting and printing process to deliver accurate mail packages while minimizing waste and downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to maintain high quality in a fast-paced environment. Night shifts and competitive hourly pay with a sign-on bonus are offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience operating W+D or similar envelope converting systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting complex machinery.
• Ability to ensure precision and quality in a fast-paced production environment.
• Capable of diagnosing and resolving equipment and workflow issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot W+D envelope production systems, ensuring smooth workflow and maximum productivity.
• Manage converting and printing processes to produce envelopes for letter packages with minimal waste.
• Operate the flexographic press integrated with the W+D system to apply high-quality print and finishes.
• Perform regular checks to ensure product quality and compliance with customer specifications.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and improve processes.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
