ARCO/Murray National Construction seeks a motivated Project Manager for the Entertainment team in Downers Grove, IL. You will oversee from design to completion, manage budgets, timelines, and client satisfaction, and lead preconstruction efforts with designers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field is required.
• 2-5 years' construction management or engineering design experience required.
• Experience leading ground up commercial, light industrial, multi-family, hospitality, or entertainment construction projects preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from preconstruction through closeout.
• Work with clients and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget.
• Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, reduce costs, provide value engineering ideas, and negotiate contracts & fees.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to procure material or equipment directly when advantageous to budget or schedule.
• Develop and review subcontractor scopes of work, project schedules, and site logistics with the Project Superintendent.
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, subcontractors, and vendors to solve constructability and sequencing challenges.
• Lead on-site meetings to review progress with clients and address challenges.
