Job summary

UPS is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Transformation Analytics & Automation in Atlanta to lead the creation of automation and analytics solutions across Finance and other corporate functions. The role emphasizes end-to-end process understanding, risk identification, and sustainable solutions using Alteryx, SQL, and cloud data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Progressive experience in business analysis, process improvement, finance, operations, analytics, automation, or enterprise transformation.
• Alteryx: Hands-on experience developing Alteryx workflows, including data preparation, joins, transformations, formulas, macros or reusable components, validation, exception handling, and production support.
• Business process knowledge: Understand and document processes across multiple functions linking operational activities, data, controls, and outcomes.
• Analytical capability: Investigate data, identify patterns, reconcile results, and provide practical recommendations.
• Controls mindset: Design or operate data-quality checks, reconciliations, and audit trails for enterprise solutions.
• Communication: Work with business and technical stakeholders and explain requirements clearly.
• Delivery: Manage work from discovery to deployment and support.

Responsibilities

• Partner with functional leaders to understand current-state processes, rules, pain points, data dependencies, risks, and controls.
• Design, build, test, and support Alteryx workflows for data preparation, reconciliations, reporting, and calculations.
• Support cross-functional enterprise transformation initiatives across Finance, Operations, Marketing, HR, IT, and other areas.
• Translate business questions into analyses, dashboards, metrics, and actionable insights.
• Develop data pipelines and ensure reliable data flows between source systems, cloud platforms, analytics tools, and reporting products.
• Build data quality, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring into solutions.
• Document functional requirements, data logic, workflows, testing scenarios, and implementation plans.
• Lead or support user acceptance testing, defect resolution, deployment, and training.
• Develop templates and standards to improve speed, consistency, and governance.
• Communicate progress, risks, and value realization to business partners and leadership.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and scale solutions across teams.
