Southern Company is seeking an Endpoint Security Architect in Atlanta to lead enterprise endpoint security architecture across workstations, servers, and mobile devices. You will define strategy, roadmaps, and governance aligned with enterprise standards and risk management.

The role partners with Cybersecurity Operations, Infrastructure, Cloud Security, and business stakeholders to design secure solutions, guide technology decisions, and ensure regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of endpoint security architectures and governance.
• Experience defining security standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
• Proven ability to translate security concepts into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority for enterprise endpoint security architecture and governance.
• Define and maintain the endpoint security strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, cloud, and business teams to design solutions.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of EPP/EDR and related technologies.
• Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments for endpoint initiatives.
• Develop business cases and executive-level communications on security value.
