Job summary

Stafl Systems in the United States is seeking an Engineering Technician Manager to lead a hands-on technician team across R&D to small-scale production. You will manage staffing, BOMs, build documentation, and provide DFM feedback while remaining actively involved in assembly, testing, and process improvements.

You will coordinate with Project Managers and leads on status, risks, and timelines, driving continuous improvement and ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading and developing a team of technicians in a hands-on setting.
• Experience supporting NPI and transitioning products from prototype to pilot or low-volume production.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to manage multiple client programs.
• Excellent organizational skills and focus on process improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with capability to maintain process documentation.
• Working knowledge of fundamental engineering concepts and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Balance hands-on IC work with team management and mentoring.
• Lead NPI from prototype through pilot and small-scale production, including build readiness and documentation.
• Manage BOMs, build schedules, staffing, and resource allocation across technician teams.
• Serve as technical contact for Project Managers and leads, providing build status and timelines.
• Drive quality, workmanship standards, documentation, non-conformance tracking, and CI.
