Job summary

Saber Power Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Lead - Engineering Analytics to transform engineering, estimating, and project data into actionable business intelligence. You will develop trusted datasets, predictive models, dashboards, and performance metrics to improve estimating accuracy and project execution.

The role partners with Engineering, IT, Estimating, and leadership to drive data governance and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in engineering analytics or BI in an engineering/industrial setting.
• Experience with large engineering/project datasets for decision-making.
• Experience building dashboards, predictive models, and executive reports.
• Ability to translate complex findings for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering analytics strategy including governance and reporting standards.
• Develop datasets supporting estimating, engineering, controls, and scheduling.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Build predictive models, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
• Partner across IT, estimating, engineering, and management to integrate data.
• Validate methods, document methodologies, and establish governance.
• Present findings to leadership in clear, actionable terms.
• Support strategic planning by forecasting performance and trends.
• Train users on analytics tools and promote data-driven culture.
• Evaluate new analytics technologies and drive improvements.
