Job summary

GE Vernova Wind seeks an Engineer to contribute to power curve testing and system-level power performance simulations. The role connects field testing with integrated modeling, drawing on aerodynamics, electrical, and controls inputs, with autonomy over deliverables.

The position requires a Bachelor's in engineering, at least 3 years of experience, and travel up to 10%. You will work with cross-functional teams, apply IEC standards, and use MATLAB and Python to support analysis and tool

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of time.

Responsibilities

• Execute power curve simulations per design practice with autonomy and support design reviews.
• Validate and verify models; contribute to technical reviews and release process.
• Apply IEC standards and GE test requirements for power curve testing.
• Analyze test data and support root-cause analyses of field anomalies.
• Maintain and improve analysis tools using MATLAB and Python.
