Job summary

BJAK is seeking a Lead Engineer to take technical ownership of complex products and systems, driving the engineering bar across the team. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires designing systems, writing and reviewing code, and guiding other engineers from idea to production.

You will move between architecture and implementation, making strong technical decisions while remaining close to the code to execute when needed. This role is remote with global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and execution of major products, features and engineering initiatives.
• Design scalable, reliable systems across backend, frontend, APIs, databases and infrastructure.
• Stay hands-on with engineering through coding, prototyping, reviews, debugging and production problem-solving.
• Mentor engineers and help strengthen technical capability across the team.
• Own systems beyond release — monitor production and resolve root causes.
