Job summary

CSG Talent are collaborating with a key partner to identify an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to join their team in Melbourne, Florida. The role blends technical leadership with municipal project delivery and mentoring junior engineers.

You will lead design for water supply, wastewater treatment, and related systems while coordinating with clients, contractors and project teams to deliver on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Typically 8–10 years of experience designing water/wastewater systems and utility infrastructure.
• Experience leading technical delivery, mentoring engineers, or managing technical teams.
• Degree in Engineering with a PE license.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design for water supply, wastewater treatment, pump/lift stations, sanitary sewers and water distribution systems.
• Support or serve as Project Manager, coordinating technical tasks, schedules and project delivery.
• Review construction drawings, specifications and hydraulic modelling reports, providing technical guidance and quality assurance.
• Work closely with clients, contractors and project teams to resolve design and construction challenges.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals and contract documents, and support bidding and construction administration.

Day to day overview:
