Job summary

Outro Health USA Inc. is hiring a Lead Engineer to take primary ownership of engineering. You will write production code, shape architecture, ensure reliability, and guide a small, high-skill team as we scale our deprescribing platform.

You’ll work on clinician tools, patient data, insurance integrations, and healthcare compliance. The role combines hands-on coding with technical leadership and a path toward Head of Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating large production systems.
• Strong architectural judgment across systems, data, and integrations.
• Comfort working through ambiguity with minimal guidance.
• Experience with AI tooling and evaluating where it helps or hurts.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering system architecture, direction, and quality.
• Write substantial production code and lead by example.
• Mentor engineers and build a small, high-skill team.
• Ensure HIPAA, SOC 2, access controls, and data privacy compliance.
