Job summary

Solana Foundation is seeking a Lead Engineer for Frontier Traders to own data pipelines and trader-facing product end to end. You will guide architecture decisions, collaborate with traders and ecosystems, and ensure accurate volume attribution for rebates and leaderboards.

Ideal candidates bring a track record of shipping financial/transactional products, plus deep Solana knowledge and strong product instincts. Expect a fast-moving, autonomous team with direct stakeholder interaction.

Qualifications

• Track record of building and shipping products end to end.
• Strong fundamentals across the stack and judgment on hard problems.
• Experience with high-volume data pipelines, indexing, or realtime systems.
• Working knowledge of Solana: accounts, transactions, program interactions, data extraction.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and delivery of Frontier Traders end to end, from onchain data ingestion to trader-facing product.
• Build and scale pipelines attributing volume across venues.
• Design and operate the rewards engine behind campaigns, points, prize pools, and leaderboards.
• Maintain the VIP tier system with rolling windows and rebate calculations.
• Ship realtime experiences: live activity feeds, leaderboards, tier progression.
• Own integrations with ecosystem partners and keep them working as venues evolve.
• Collaborate with traders, firms, and market makers to turn feedback into shipped product.
• Set the engineering bar for architecture, code quality, testing, observability, and incident response.
• Make build-versus-integrate decisions to stay fast without debt.
• Partner with design, product, and Growth teams to shape what gets built and why.
