Job summary

Wormhole Labs in the United States seeks a seasoned Trader to develop and run RFQ-based trading strategies for tokenized spot equities. You will price thin markets, monitor P&L in real time, and drive risk-aware execution while integrating onchain and traditional brokerage venues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and run RFQ-based trading strategies for tokenized spot equities: set parameters such as buffers, spreads, and size limits, while optimizing for evolving business goals.
• Price instruments where reference prices are thin or stale, such as long-tail stocks and extended and overnight sessions.
• Measure execution quality: benchmark fills against references, analyze markouts, and turn what you find into strategy improvements.
• Monitor positions, inventory levels and P&L in real time; proactively flag risks, execute adjustments, and continuously improve tooling & monitoring.
• Integrate with traditional brokerage venues and onchain programs to fill trades and rebalance inventory.

Job description

Wormhole Labs builds Sunrise (sunrise.xyz), a platform that helps token issuers launch and list their tokens on Solana. To date, we've orchestrated the launch of 100+ assets on Solana, accounting for more than $10 billion in cumulative trading volume.

As a Trader, you'll develop and run strategies for tokenized equities, pricing and hedging risk across onchain markets and traditional brokerage venues. You'll be responsible for managing capital and writing the code that puts your strategies into production. This is a hybrid trading and engineering role.

What you will do

• Develop and run RFQ-based trading strategies for tokenized spot equities: set parameters such as buffers, spreads, and size limits, while optimizing for evolving business goals.

• Price instruments where reference prices are thin or stale, such as long-tail stocks and extended and overnight sessions.

What we're looking for

• Experience developing RFQ systems.

• A rigorous approach to risk management: you track exposure, hedge thoughtfully, and escalate early when conditions shift.

• Self-directed and adaptable: you're comfortable operating with autonomy in a remote-first environment.

• Strong analytical and software engineering skills (e.g. Rust)
