Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. in Marietta, Georgia is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee technical aspects of engineered wood products. You'll work on compliance, design solutions, and product quality while mentoring internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Structural or Civil), ability to become licensed in multiple states.
• 5-7+ years’ experience preferred with BS/BA; 3-5 years’ experience with MS/MA/MBA.
• Extremely detail-oriented and skilled at blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to Plan Services regarding construction practices.
• Ensures compliance with building codes and standards.
• Facilitates training sessions with both internal and external stakeholders.

Skills

Expertise in designing structures with wood

Strong understanding of building code requirements

Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite

Education

BA/BS degree in Engineering

MS/MA/MBA
