Qualifications

• +7 years minimum relevant experience referenced in job posting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute engineering projects: scoping, budgeting, design, contracts, construction, and closeout.
• Perform and review complex engineering analyses, calculations, and designs; ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve engineering documentation and drawings; ensure accuracy and quality.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members; guide decision-making and skill development.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors; align with policies and best practices.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality standards and project milestones.
• Ensure all designs meet applicable codes and standards.
• Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate project meetings to monitor progress.
• Demonstrate expertise in substation design and construction for utility environments or large-scale projects.
• Lead prioritization of tasks and projects to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate across departments.
• Work independently with little supervision.
