Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the MYA life extension pipeline, driving backlog cost reductions and data-driven productivity across NPI, Module Engineering, Reliability, and Repair. The role champions AI and automation to accelerate risk modeling and lifecycle management.

You will oversee cross-functional reviews, develop digital maintenance strategies, and ensure scalable, automated engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in gas turbine design, operation, or repair processes.
• Experience with data analytics, automation scripting (Python/SQL), or AI/ML-driven modeling.

Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical design fundamentals, statistics, and failure-mode analysis to evaluate risk vs. reward.
• Innovate processes by leveraging AI-driven tools and automation to optimize data quality and risk workflows.
• Lead cross-functional reviews with the Chief Engineering Office and present data-backed productivity cases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to manage creep programs and transition toward digital maintenance models.
• Foster continuous improvement ensuring documentation and risk assessments align with Engineer 2030 standards.
