GE Vernova in Greenville, SC seeks a senior engineer to lead the MYA life extension pipeline from idea to launch, integrating AI and automation into risk modeling and lifecycle management. You will collaborate across NPI, Module Engineering, Reliability, and Repair to ensure scalable, automated processes and future-ready systems.

The role emphasizes data-driven productivity, cross-functional leadership, and delivering significant annual backlog cost reductions for the MYA/Services business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in gas turbine design, operation, or repair (USA).

Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical design fundamentals, statistics, and failure-mode analysis to evaluate risk vs. reward.
• Innovate with AI-driven tools and automation to optimize data quality and risk workflows.
• Lead cross-functional reviews with the Chief Engineering Office using digital modeling to present data-backed productivity cases.
• Collaborate to manage creep programs and move toward Systems-as-a-Service digital maintenance models.
• Foster continuous improvement with documentation and risk assessments aligned with Engineer 2030 standards.
