Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an Affordability Program Lead Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. This senior position focuses on embedding affordability throughout the lifecycle, leading cross-functional cost analysis, and developing cost models to optimize lifecycle cost while preserving performance.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree and 8+ years of experience in cost analysis, modeling, and quantitative methods, with proven collaboration across engineering, finance, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with cost analysis, cost modeling, and financial analysis.
• Experience performing quantitative analysis and working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed affordability considerations across all phases of the Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management framework from concept through sustainment.
• Collect and organize cross-functional data, assess cost drivers, and support development of cost models and lifecycle cost analyses.
• Prepare cost impact assessments, scenarios, and affordability materials for trade studies, design reviews, proposals, and internal decision forums.
• Maintain affordability artifacts such as CRI and CRO tracking with input from cross-functional teams.
