Job summary

CTS Engines, a leading jet engine maintenance provider, seeks a Lead Technician to supervise and coordinate technicians performing engine disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and installation. The role ensures compliance with manuals, data, and regulatory requirements while guiding teams and maintaining workflow.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years of turbine engine maintenance, repair, or overhaul experience.
• Previous lead technician or team coordinator experience preferred.
• FAA Powerplant certificate preferred.
• Experience interpreting maintenance manuals and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead engine and component maintenance activities within qualifications.
• Coordinate daily assignments with supervisor and prioritize work.
• Review maintenance manuals and service bulletins before tasks.
• Monitor progress and communicate delays or discrepancies.
• Ensure tools and materials are available before start.
• Support safe shift handovers and quality objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technicians.
