Job summary

Hydrogen Group is recruiting an experienced Project Manager – Pipeline & Facilities for a 6–12 month contract opportunity in Colorado. You will lead multidisciplinary teams through development, procurement, construction, commissioning and close-out of capital projects across midstream pipeline and facility infrastructure.

This role requires ownership of scope, budget and schedule, with experience in natural gas, crude oil or NGL infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage pipeline and facilities capital projects from development through execution and close-out.
• Take ownership of project scope, budget, schedule and overall delivery.
• Lead engineering, design, procurement and construction activities.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up where required.
• Develop project execution strategies, schedules and cost plans.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Support projects involving compressor stations, pump stations, terminals, process plants and associated pipeline infrastructure.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts and overall financial performance.
• Track schedules and identify potential delays, adverse trends and required recovery actions.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans and reporting.
• Prepare scopes of work and bid packages for contractors and vendors.
• Participate in contractor and supplier evaluation and selection.
• Manage contractors and vendors throughout project execution.
• Administer and manage project contracts, including changes to scope.
• Review project controls information and implement corrective action where necessary.
• Manage project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate construction activities and provide project leadership during execution.
• Ensure project requirements relating to safety, quality and regulatory compliance are achieved.
• Communicate project status, risks and decisions clearly to stakeholders.
• Build effective working relationships across engineering, operations, construction and commercial teams.
• Provide leadership and accountability across internal and external project resources.
