DESC, a social services organization focused on housing solutions, seeks a Case Manager Supervisor for The Gateway Emergency Housing project. You will lead a team of case managers delivering housing-oriented services to residents, ensuring crisis intervention, access to health care, and coordination with community partners.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant work experience in human services.
• Experience supervising or leading teams in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to supervise social services programs and staff.
• Credential as Agency Affiliated Counselor or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Demonstrated ability to engage clients and coordinate housing and health services.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning, implementation and coordination of The Gateway's services.
• Ensure compliance with contract and procedure requirements.
• Promote positive relationships with the surrounding neighborhood.
• Provide supervision and consultation for team members and train staff.
• Coordinate case manager hiring and orientation; assist in hiring Gateway staff.
• Provide leadership in the absence of the Project Manager and engage clients with trust-building strategies.
