Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Systems Engineer to serve as the technical lead for complex embedded systems developed within the Open Systems Development Branch. You will own system architecture, requirements development, and technical execution across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires leading architecture decisions, coordinating electrical, mechanical, and software researchers, and driving the full engineering lifecycle from concept through deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer/Systems fields.
• Experience owning the Systems Engineering V lifecycle: elicitation, decomposition, architecture, design, integration, verification and deployment.
• Proficiency with open architectures and MBSE using SysML.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering with stakeholders and drive architecture decisions.
• Own system-level synthesis and translate requirements into architectures.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
• Direct resources for large-scale deployments and manage technical aspects of design.
• Lead technical meetings and define open architectures and standards.
• Guide researchers across disciplines to support development efforts.
