Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Architect to drive architecture decisions for embedded products in Bartlesville, OK. You will collaborate with product management and customers to define requirements early in the concept phase and lead the technical trade-off analyses.

You will present architectures to peers and stakeholders, and guide a development team through the SDLC, using RTOS and real-time Linux as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Must have minimum 4 years’ experience in embedded systems architecture and design; proven C/C++ programming; RTOS experience.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural decisions on embedded products, evaluating technical and business trade-offs.
Collaborate with Product Management and customers to capture needs in early concept phase and develop requirements.
Present and advocate recommended systems and architectures to peers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
Create diagrams (functional blocks, data flow, use cases) to illustrate architectures and decisions.
Design for software development and deployment using virtual environments and various host platforms.
Oversee the full SDLC for embedded software and coordinate team effort.
