Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Architect to drive architecture decisions for embedded products in Bartlesville, OK. You will collaborate with product management and customers to capture requirements and translate them into robust system designs.

The role requires extensive experience in embedded software architecture, C/C++ programming, and RTOS usage, with cross-functional teamwork across engineering and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of embedded systems architecture and design experience; C/C++ programming and RTOS.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural decisions on embedded products and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Product Management and customers to define requirements early.
• Present system architectures to peers, product managers, developers and stakeholders.
• Create diagrams for architecture, data flow, use cases and sequences.
• Design embedded systems for RTOS environments (real-time Linux or similar).
• Own the SDLC of embedded software from planning to deployment.
• Design for deployment on hosts with virtualization.
• Lead a development team to accelerate progress.
