Job summary

GrammaTech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer in Linthicum, MD. You will lead automated tests in HIL environments and orchestrate test harnesses, CI/CD pipelines, and bench automation using Python, C/C++, or Rust.

Responsibilities include automating test execution, instrument control, and validating software behavior with minimal supervision, while collaborating with a skilled team. On-site presence in Linthicum is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing or using automated test harnesses, HIL setups, or test benches.
• Proficient in Python, C, C++, or Rust for bench automation.
• Experience building CI pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and Docker.
• Hands-on with UART, SPI, I2C, JTAG and embedded bus monitoring.
• On-site support in Linthicum, MD daily.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of automated embedded tests in HIL environments.
• Automate target device execution and bench instrument control for repeatable tests.
• Support software validation and patch deployment under minimal supervision.
