Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Staff Embedded Software IPT Lead for our Advanced Weapons team in Northridge, CA. You will lead multiple software teams across OFP software, DevOps, and architecture, driving end-to-end development of embedded software for secured missile systems.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and active program access, with on-site duties in Northridge, CA. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, program managers, and customers to ensure timely,

Qualifications

Bachelors in STEM with 14+ years of embedded software experience.
Experience leading an Integrated Product Team of 20+ individuals.
Experience with CAM & EVMS duties and responsibilities.
Experience in software or algorithm development, integration, and test.
Experience developing unit level tests for software verification.
Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
Ability to obtain/maintain SAP/Special program access clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering teams supporting OFP Software, DevOps, Software Architecture and Requirements, Engineering Tools, and Ground Support Equipment Software.
Manage the Software Development Lifecycle to develop production ready software.
Serve as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) to develop and execute project budgets and schedules, including EVMS and workload forecasts.
Identify and mitigate execution risks to engineering development on the program.
Determine the staffing needed to execute.
Coordinate between cross-functional teams to ensure program integrity.
Interface with the customer and internal leadership to report status and challenges.
