Job summary

General Motors seeks a seasoned Integration/Software Engineer to plan, lead, and execute software content and timing for SDV2.0 MCU releases. You will direct software builds, testing, and validation, and document plans for internal and external stakeholders.

You will lead verification/validation efforts, obtain leadership approvals, and promote best practices to shorten development lead times. This role includes a Hybrid work arrangement with three days in-office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute software content and timing for SDV2.0 MCU software releases
• Lead software content and timing for releases on new controllers
• Provide direction and set priorities for software builds, testing, and validation
• Document plans in software delivery plan and communicate them to stakeholders
• Lead project-specific software verification and validation plan and document in ADV plan
• Acquire approval from leadership and drive issue resolution
• Foster best practices to ensure high quality work and reduce lead time
• Report to local office as part of Hybrid Work Policy (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
