Job summary

Strattec Security Corporation is seeking an experienced Software Engineer 2 to lead embedded software development for automotive access solutions. You will design architecture, code in C, and ensure rigorous testing and integration across global sites.

Qualifications include a BS in engineering and 5+ years in electronics/embedded software with AUTOSAR, MISRA and ASPICE familiarity. Strong English communication and technical writing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with electronics preference
• Five+ years in electronics/embedded software design or related field
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR, MISRA and ASPICE preferred
• CAN/SPI communication experience and embedded testing tools

Responsibilities

• Lead/global software development project team including technical leadership and timing
• Design software architecture aligned with product requirements and standards
• Embed software coding in C and Assembly per coding standards
• Develop, document, review and approve software design specifications
• Analyze and debug software in embedded systems with proper instrumentation
• Integrate, compile, test, and verify software on target hardware
• Adhere to rigorous software development processes and participate in peer reviews
