Job description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Software Integration Engineer with experience in automotive embedded software development, integration, and powertrain control systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in embedded software integration, AUTOSAR architecture, and automotive software build environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Build and integrate software for Engine Control Modules (ECM)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Architecture, BSW, and Application Software Development teams
• Plan, build, and maintain prototype software releases based on requests from developers, Controls Managers, and Product Owners
• Maintain all prototype software changes and releases in Git repositories
• Analyze runtime build and integration issues, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and support issue resolution
• Ensure timely delivery of stable and integrated prototype software builds
• Support continuous improvement of software integration and build processes

Required Technical & Functional Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development and Integration
• Hands‑on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, and auto‑code generation
• Strong programming skills in Embedded C
• Experience with AUTOSAR ARXML, RTE code generation, and integration with ASW and BSW source code
• Experience in prototype software build and integration using Enterprise Build Tools and Hi‑Tech compiler
• Ability to analyze runtime issues/errors and provide timely fixes to support prototype builds
• Familiarity with embedded software development toolchains and integration environments
• Good understanding of Embedded Software Architecture and Software Development Processes
• Strong understanding of Automotive Powertrain Domain and engine/powertrain control strategies
• Knowledge of MISRA C guidelines and ASPICE processesUnderstanding of ICE, Hybrid, and Electric Vehicle systems and Microcontrollers
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
