Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace in Largo, FL is seeking a Principal Embedded System Security Engineer to lead security across defense programs. The role supports DoD missions, requires active SECRET clearance and US citizenship, and is onsite in Largo with relocation assistance available.

You will work within the Product Cybersecurity Organization, coordinating with systems engineers and developers to ensure security is foundational in design, testing, and deployment of mission-critical embedded systems

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or advanced related degree with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead system certification and RMF ATO activities including NSA Type 1 certification.
• Decompose requirements, allocate and verify security across the system.
• Identify security vulnerabilities in requirements and architecture.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate security into design and verification.
• Develop security test plans and conduct evaluations with remediation analysis.
