Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and integrate embedded Linux solutions for DoD programs in a highly secure environment. You will work on an IPT with experienced engineers across the development lifecycle, from requirements to fielded products.

You will contribute to kernel, BSP, build toolchains, and driver development, learn Collins processes, and gain exposure to hardware bring-up, debugging, and verification on target hardware and

Formación

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required
• Experience with Linux command line and embedded C/C++ development

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and enhance the Linux OS ecosystem and maintain build toolchain, kernel, root filesystem and BSP
• Contribute to embedded Linux software design, coding, testing and delivery
• Perform root cause analysis of hardware-software issues and assist in system testing
