Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an Embedded SDE to lead platform‑specific projects across Satellite, Ground Systems and Customer Terminals. You will design embedded software used in Amazon Leo products and mentor engineers, guiding designs from requirements through mass production.

The ideal candidate has multi‑year experience with embedded Linux, Yocto, RTOS, kernel programming, and device drivers; familiarity with Ethernet, PCIe, SPI, I2C; ARM‑based systems; and

Qualifications

Experience with embedded Linux, Yocto or RTOS and kernel development.
Hands-on work with networking on consumer devices and embedded firmware.
Familiarity with device provisioning and manufacturing diagnostics is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.

Responsibilities

Lead platform‑specific projects on Satellite, Ground Systems and Customer Terminals.
Design embedded software from requirements through mass production and mentoring the team.
Collaborate across teams to address high priority issues in production.
