Job summary

NVIDIA invites a Senior Software Manager to lead the imaging software roadmap for the Jetson platform, coordinating camera drivers, image-processing algorithms, streaming frameworks, and developer tools to move customers from prototype to production.

You will mentor engineering managers, align cross-functional teams, and translate market needs into prioritized capabilities while guiding reliable, low-latency sensing and features that ship on a predictable schedule.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years leading software teams.
• Embedded Linux software experience for SoCs, including drivers, bring-up, and on-target debugging.
• Strong depth in C/C++, C++, or Rust systems software with guidance on architecture and debugging.
• Ability to translate market requirements into roadmaps and align cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with agentic tools, skills, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of sensing and imaging technologies into the Jetson BSP across drivers, algorithms, frameworks, agents, and skills.
• Support a team transitioning to an agentic development workflow to improve velocity, transparency, quality, and performance.
• Translate customer and ecosystem requirements into prioritized capabilities and measurable outcomes.
• Align software and partner teams in imaging research, tuning, Jetson product, hardware, and QA to ship features on a predictable schedule.
• Develop and mentor engineering managers and senior technical leaders while creating growth opportunities for the team.
