Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Embedded Firmware Test Engineer to coordinate testing activities in the Lab and oversee a team of Lab Technicians. You will design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts and circuitry for electrical equipment and hardware systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3–6 years of test and measurement experience, with familiarity in UL/CSA/NEC standards and hands‑on test equipment. On-site work in the U.S. is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 3–6 years of experience in a test and measurement environment is required.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot and repair Test Lab equipment.
• Working knowledge of regulatory bodies such as UL, CSA and NEC.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment and methodologies for electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing activities in the Lab and oversee Lab Technicians.
• Support certification agency representatives in inspection and testing of wiring devices.
• Assist in designing and devising test procedures for new products.
• Review data and calculations to satisfy internal and external agencies.
• Train new Lab Technicians and setup high‑power electrical test circuits.
