Job summary
Cooper Lighting Solutions in Atlanta or Peachtree City, GA seeks a Lead Firmware Engineer to own embedded firmware development for WaveLinx IoT lighting systems. You will partner with Hardware, Marketing and QA teams to design, implement, validate and deploy new products, taking ownership from concept to production.
You should have a 10+ years background in embedded firmware, C/C++, RTOS and ARM MCUs, plus experience with UART, SPI and I2C and related protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a focus on embedded systems.
- 10+ years of embedded firmware development with C/C++ and RTOS.
- ARM MCU FW development principles, interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIOs).
- Knowledge of electronics, schematics, datasheets, bootloaders, and protocols like ZigBee/Bluetooth/DALI.
- Experience debugging real-time issues with IDEs, debuggers, multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Responsibilities
- Develop firmware and new products for WaveLinx IoT lighting system.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Marketing and QA to design, validate and deploy products.
- Own product implementation, documentation, testing, quality and deployment.
- Lead firmware development for sensors, control and input devices in WaveLinx Wireless.
