Heritage Landscapes in the Bay Area seeks a versatile Landscaping Maintenance Manager to lead high‑end residential landscape maintenance portfolios, overseeing crews, training, safety, and on‑site client communication.

The role covers recruitment, scheduling, material deliveries, subcontractor coordination, equipment management, and staying ahead of sustainable practices, with a base salary of $125,000 per year plus profit sharing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in landscape maintenance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience managing crews and overseeing landscape enhancement projects.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• QAC certificate and Arborist certificate.
• ReScape certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field crews across multiple sites.
• Provide on‑the‑job skills training and development.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and terminations.
• Ensure safety, time entry, and payroll accuracy.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractors.
• Maintain equipment, yard organization, and inventory.
• Maintain proactive client communication and high service standards.
• Promote sustainable landscape practices and industry knowledge.
• Follow the Injury and Prevention Program and safety procedures.
• Report progress to the Maintenance Director.
