Lead coverage may be required; collaborate with physicians, nurses and care teams to implement plans and ensure high-quality cardiopulmonary care.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the state.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC credential or within 3 months of hire.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate respiratory care based on physician orders.
• Administer therapies including oxygen, aerosols, airway management, and ventilation support.
• Perform pulmonary diagnostic testing and monitor patient responses.
• Document respiratory status and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and care teams on patient care plans.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and rapid response events.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and equipment.
