KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to lead a classroom, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. You will partner with families and staff to support enrollment and center goals.

The role emphasizes mentoring others, compliance with state requirements, and engagement with the community while fostering a love of learning in elementary-age children.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, multi-tasking ability.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors
• Able to communicate in English with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum with respect to each child's needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support center success by collaborating with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners
