Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of lead teaching experience in grades K-4 in a public charter school, traditional public school, or private setting.
• Ability to develop and implement a dynamic and engaging math curriculum.
• Outstanding verbal ability and strong communication skills.
• Certification requirements: NYS certification is not required, but a pathway to certification should be identified on the application.
• Education requirements aligned with NYS pathways; no additional degree programs are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead teacher for one class (K-4), teaching across subjects and building strong relationships to support student progress.
• Teach across multiple subjects with emphasis on literacy instruction.
• Create a learning environment that fosters a love of learning and a positive classroom culture.
• Contribute to collaborative efforts within Academics, Arts, and Athletics pillars.
