Job summary

The University of Iowa invites applications for a full-time academic-year clinical-track faculty position in Elementary Education. Qualifications

• Must have potential or proven ability to coordinate a large elementary education program.
• Experience in elementary teacher education and in coordinating program activities.
• Proven or potential teaching experience in K-12 settings; collaboration with faculty and schools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Elementary Education program within the department.
• Teach undergraduate courses in elementary education.
• Collaborate with the Office of Student Services and partners in K-12 settings.
• Maintain a record of professional productivity and foster university-school partnerships.
• Engage with faculty, staff, students, and community to advance inclusive education.
• Comply with required collaboration hours with teachers in K-12 classrooms (≥4 hours/semester).
• Possible summer administrative duties to integrate classroom instruction and field experiences.
