The University of Iowa College of Education's Department of Teaching and Learning invites applications for a full-time clinical-track faculty position in the Elementary Education program. The appointee will coordinate the program, teach undergraduate courses, and collaborate with the Office of Student Services.

Qualified candidates will hold a doctorate in Elementary Education or a related field by Aug. 1, 2027, and have experience in K-12 settings, along with a commitment to inclusive education

Qualifikationen

• Evidence of potential to coordinate a large elementary education program (administrative capacity).
• Experience in elementary teacher education.
• Successful experience teaching in K-12 settings.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse faculty and students.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate the Elementary Education program and teach undergraduate courses.
• Collaborate with the Office of Student Services to support pre-service teachers.
• Maintain a record of professional productivity and engage with partners across campus and local schools.
• Participate in summer administration work as needed to integrate instruction and field experiences.
• Engage with faculty, staff, students, and community to advance equitable education.
