Qualifications

• Associate degree related to aerospace or electronics or a Bachelor's in Engineering.
• 6+ years production/assembly experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic assemblies down to the component level to support product reliability and repair, diagnosing issues in RF and digital systems and restoring failed units to full functionality.
• Accurately log, interpret, and analyze test data to identify trends, collaborating with peers to drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
• Set up, calibrate, and validate test systems to ensure accuracy and repeatability, clearly presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with Technical Leads and Engineering to implement process enhancements, while communicating proactively with management and team members to align on goals and improve throughput.
• Adapt effectively within a dynamic manufacturing environment, responding to shifting priorities and production demands.

Job description

TSC is seeking a Lead Electronics Technician located in our Huntsville, AL to support our production division.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot electronic assemblies down to the component level to support product reliability and repair, diagnosing issues in both RF and digital systems and restoring failed units to full functionality. Accurately and effectively log, interpret, and analyze test data to identify trends, collaborating with peers to drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. Work closely with Technical Leads and Engineering to implement process enhancements, while communicating proactively with management and team members to align on goals and improve throughput. Set up, calibrate, and validate test systems to ensure accuracy and repeatability, clearly presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Adapt effectively within a dynamic manufacturing environment, responding to shifting priorities and production demands.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree related to aerospace or electronics and at least 6 years of production and/or assembly experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Strong theoretical and functional understanding of electronics diagnostic instruments and lab equipment including: DMM, Signal Analyzer, oscilloscope, Network Analyzer, Power Meter, LRC meter.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to assembly, test, rework, repair according to IPC Standards
• Experience working in a design team environment with vendors, customers and peer engineers
• Ability to mentor and lead more junior technicians.
