Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronic Warfare Test Engineer to join the Flight Test Engineering Survivability team at Edwards AFB, CA. This on-site role focuses on hands-on execution, providing deep SME in EW and survivability testing throughout the flight test campaign.

The candidate should have strong programming/scripting ability (Python/MATLAB/C/C++) and experience in a systems test environment, with a DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain SAP clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with related experience.
• Experience in a systems test environment (flight test, HWIL, SIL, lab, or range test).
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or C/C++ for data analysis.
• Familiarity with RF, radar, or electronic warfare concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical contributor planning and executing tests for LO and EW systems on military aircraft.
• Design test points, instrumentation needs, and evaluate performance against requirements.
• Develop and use Python, MATLAB, or C/C++ tools to automate data processing and reporting.
• Collaborate in IPT to define test requirements, setup, and pre/post-test reporting.
• Support integration and troubleshooting of EW/test configurations at Edwards AFB.
