Job summary

Dematic in Northlake, TX is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. This technician will be dispatched to other sites in the area as needed, reporting to the Northlake location with 8-hour shifts; overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred) and 2–3 years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or vocational training preferred.
• 2–3 years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Perform preventative maintenance routines and documentation.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot circuitry.
• Create and close work orders in asset management system.
• Troubleshoot problems and identify resources needed.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to service calls and fix equipment faults.
• Develop positive working relationships across the organization.
