Job summary

Dematic seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 in Northlake, TX to perform day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. This role requires flexibility for shift changes and travel to nearby sites, with 8-hour days, overtime, and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred.
• 2-3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Create and close work orders into asset management system with data on labor, equipment, and parts.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine resources needed to resolve them.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to meet specifications.
• Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take steps to solve them.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels.
